Naby Keita rule out of the super cup final against Chelsea

The midfielder left the pitch during the Reds' evening training session, accompanied by one of the club's fitness coaches.

Though he wasn't limping, he appeared to be in some discomfort and looked to be concerned as he came off the dry and bobbly pitch at the Vodafone Park in IstanbulBut Keita was forced to withdraw from a shooting drill after a warm-up with his teammates. The 24-year-old was speaking to Liverpool’s head physio Lee Nobes as he left the pitch and was seen flexing and shaking his right leg.

Meanwhile, Klopp is already without first-choice goalkeeper Alisson for Wednesday’s Super Cup against Chelsea after the Brazilian suffered a calf injury in the 4-1 victory over Norwich at Anfield.
